Monster Garage
Monster Garage is a game show where a group of people who have
a passion for building, modifying, or fabricating cars get the
chance to create a vehicle that can transform into a completely
different machine.
Season 1 Rules
1) When complete, the car must look to be stock (like it's a
car that you can buy off the street at a glance).
2) The team has only $3,000 for parts.
3) The team has only 7 days and nights to build their monsters.
On the first day they design, for the next five they build,
and on the seventh day: the Monster Challenge.
Season 2 Rules
1) When built, the car must look in stock (like it's a car that
you can buy anywhere).
2) The team has only $5,000 for parts.
3) The team is allowed only 1 Freebie (an item that they don't
have to pay for).
4) The team has only 7 days and nights to build their monsters.
On the first day they design, for the next five they build,
and on the seventh day: the Monster Challenge.
If the build is successful, the build crew gets a tool chest
with $3,400 worth of Mac tools. Later add-ons to the prize, Monster
Garage soundtrack CD, and occasionally (to some of the builders
who go above and beyond) a Monster Garage jacket.
If the build is a failure, Jesse feeds it to a shredder.
