The Founding Fathers of the Motorcycle Era
Orange County Choppers
Paul Teutel Sr. is literally the founding “father” of
OCC. After successfully owning and operating Orange County Ironworks,
Paul Teutel Sr. decided to pursue a lifelong passion and began
Orange County Choppers in Rock Tavern New York. As the company
grew Teutel Sr. brought his sons Paul Jr. {Paulie} and Mikey
into the business. Paul Jr. with his design and fabrication skills
and Mikey with his unique talents having truly added to the new
world-renowned custom chopper business. In 1999 they debuted
their bikes at Daytona Biketoberfest. From their first creations
like True Blue to the Fire Bike, Black Widow, POW/MIA tribute
bike and the I Robot done for Will Smith and the movie premiere
the list of their successes and fame keep growing on and on.
Their latest theme bike seen on American Chopper is a shining
example done in tribute to the late David Mann and his legendary
artwork that has been admired by thousands for decades in Easyriders
Magazine.
The many fabulous custom chopper theme bikes are only one segment
of the complete custom shop. Adding to their popularity and success
is the very popular Discovery channel program American Chopper.
Along with the crew of OCC they built and are building some
of the most recognizable bikes around the motorcycle scene today.
Utilizing products from some of the best sources around like,
Milwaukee Iron, Eck Craft Metal Arts, Miller Welding, Snap On
Tools, Custom Chrome and S&S engines.
OCC and the Teutels create custom motorcycle history everyday
and now rank in the realms with the likes of West coast Choppers,
Billy Lane and Choppers Inc., and Roger Bourget, keeping this
great art form and lifestyle alive for many new and hardcore
custom motorcycle enthusiasts.
