Lens Technology:
At Wiley X, we produce our lenses using the precise amount of
dyes in the manufacturing process, eliminating eye fatigue and
strain. All Wiley X lenses block 400 nanometers or 100% of the
suns harmful ultra violet rays. Each lens is made from pure shatterproof
selenite polycarbonate and far exceed ANSI Z87.1 safety and ANSI
Z80.3 optical standards. We then formulate and die-cut each lens
to eliminate distortion, giving the user perfect optical clarity.
These features, combined with a wide range of performance enhancing
tints, work together to provide the ultimate in eye protection
without optical compromise.
LA™ Light
Adjusting Lenses: Developed for the G-Line exclusively,
this new shooting lens technology adjusts the light transmission
levels of each tint, according to the amount of sun exposure.
This maximizes target definition based on light condition,
providing perfect optical clarity and enhanced performance
at any time of day.
Neutral
Slate Lenses: Provide maximum glare protection without
distorting colors. Ideal for most activities where bright sun
and glare is a major factor.
Clear
as Crystal Lenses: Allow maximum light transmission
without changing the value of colors. The clear choice for
hazy, overcast, dusk, dawn, or night where clear protected
site is the main objective.
Bronze
Brown Lenses: Offer excellent visual definition and
glare reduction in bright light conditions. It's the most suitable
lens to sharpen and enhance ground level contours.
Pale
Yellow Lenses: Best suited for use in low light conditions
where enhancement is needed. Yellow lenses naturally block
blue light with cause visual haze and will increase visual
clarity. Excellent lens for clay, trap, target and operational
shooting

Light
Rust Lenses: Filter blue light waves which are the
chief components of glare and haze. These lenses provide contrast
enhancements in medium to low light conditions. Excellent lens
for clay, trap, target and operational shooting.
Smoke
Green Lenses: Great for general purpose use. These
lenses provide maximum glare reduction without distorting colors.
Ideal for activities where bright sun and glare are a major
factor.
Pale
Rose Lenses / Vermillion Lenses: Improve details and
enhances depth perception when encountering low or artificial
light conditions. These lenses naturally bring out the intensity
of warm colors. Excellent lens for clay, trap, target and operational
shooting.
Violet
Lenses: Excellent glare reducer. This blended lens
of Neutral Slate and Vermillion hues provides excellent contrast
of orange targets against a blue sky or green to brown background.
Mirror
Lenses: Multi-Coat, Z-Oxide™ mirror finish over
our Neutral Slate lenses. Diminishes glare by absorbing reflection
across the mirror face.
Modular Goggles Series: Wiley X has devoted
a specific department to the development and creation of new
and innovative designs based on feedback from soldiers and officers
in the field. These ballistic, modular systems combine several
eye protecting functions in one. Wiley X prides itself on designing
modular eye protection that can be worn for multiple applications.
Single lens units and interchangeable one, two and three lens
systems have been designed to function in any application where
clear, protected sight is needed.
Interchangeable Series: Multiple, interchangeable
frame systems allow for different lens combinations when weather
is changing from dusk till dawn. Triloid nylon frames are virtually
unbreakable and designed to cut wind and eliminate backlit
glare. Slot™ technology forms the interchangeable system,
making the changing of lenses hassle free.
Wiley X continues to be the most widely used goggle on soldiers
conducting Operation Enduring and Iraqi Freedom. The SG-1, seen
on the cover of Time Magazine, has been heralded as the replacement
for the outdated Sun, Dust and Wind goggle. Our modular philosophy
gives the soldier a multi-functional eyewear system in one. Wiley

millennium soldier. Our new CQC goggle provides all around function, for all
operations conducted. It's streamlined design cuts through the wind and fits
the face closely and tightly. Whether you need protection for urban warfare,
land warfare, sun, dust, wind or snow, this goggle has it all.
Having worked closely with the 82nd and 101st ABN we consider ourselves experts
in designing functional goggles for all ABN conditions. The new CQC goggle
is an excellent jump goggle. It's streamlined design cuts through the wind
and fits the face closely and tightly.
Whether you need protection for urban warfare, land warfare,
sun, dust, wind or snow, this goggle has it all. The few ballistic
goggle designs that are even on the market right now are large,
uncomfortable, one dimensional and cumbersome. Their straps have
to be worn over the top of a soldier's helmet and never give
a good seal on an individuals face. When questioned all services
stated they wanted a more streamlined goggle that was more comfortable
and didn't sit so far away from the face. Traditional goggles
often give the wearer tunnel vision. Our CQC goggle can be worn
with its strap, under the helmet, which greatly improves fit
and comfort. This also improves vision as the goggle is designed
to sit very close to the face. Our new CQC goggle (along with
our SG-1 design) can even be worn with night vision.
Traditional protective goggles use foam that breaks down over
a short amount of time. Some don't use foam at all and have opted
for a rubber ridge to pad the users face. This rubber type of
ridge gets slippery when the wearer sweats and becomes very uncomfortable
over a period of time. The Wiley X CQC goggle uses our exclusive "Ultra
Foam" seal which is far more durable than traditional foam
and much more comfortable than the rubber ridge used by competitors.
The CQC goggle comes equipped with 2 sets (neutral slate / clear)
of ballistic polycarbonate. Each lens is 2.5mm thick and clear
coated with our proprietary anti-fog solution giving the user
perfect, unobstructed vision. Add our silicone, scratch resistant
coating and you have the best optical quality, ballistic lenses
available.
The new CQC goggle is also modular. It converts from a ballistic
goggle into a set of fully functional eyewear with just a push
of a button. Now when a soldier is in his or her down time they
can attach the temples and wear the product as a sunglass providing
100% Ultra Violet protection.
For added protection, the CQC goggle has protective side shields
that can be attached in either sunglass or goggle form. This
gives the user extra peripheral and temporal protection not offered
in any other goggle design.
Our CQC goggle comes with two sets of ballistic, anti-fog lenses
(neutral slate, clear), temples, elastic strap, and soft case
for storage.
We spent the last two years developing one of the most sophisticated Polarized
lines, for both Casual and Active customers alike. We've taken basic polarized
lens technology to a whole new level. By combining our new Filter 8™ Polarized
film with Violet 4™ Anti-Reflective and Slick™ Hydophilic coatings,
we have maximized visual performance. Our new Seal-Tek™ technology allows
the user to seal his / hers eye's while fishing, boating, or doing anything
active. This "Clear Eye Housing" allows the user to perform at their
best and not be distracted by reflections or the environment. Remove the seal

Mirror Lens Anatomy: Wiley X prides itself
on launching new technologies while maintaining price levels
that are not out of the realm of realism. Our Z-Oxide™ Multi-Coat
mirrors are clean, crisp and set a standard of elegance. Smudge
and smear proof, these coatings cut light transmission to manageable

Blue
Lunar Mirror: Designed to enhance visual acuity, excellent
color for sight fishing. Great everyday lens tint with Blue

heightened detail in both bright sunlight and lower light conditions.
Emerald
Green Mirror: The darkest color in the Wiley X line.
Designed for bright light conditions. Excellent for water sports,
beaches, and offshore fishing. Great everyday lens tint that
is soft on the eyes. Increases detail of objects where polarization
is needed most.
Silver
Steel Mirror: Second darkest lens in the Wiley X line.
Designed for bright light conditions. Provides maximum glare
reduction without distorting colors. Ideal in bright sun where
glare is a major factor. Excellent tint for beaches, fishing,
general purpose and water sports applications.
Wiley X' modular, convertible goggle designs tip even the most modern scales
of innovation. These easy to convert frames are the preferred choice of countless
military personnel. The frame provides a 90 degree wrap-back, eliminating tunnel
vision. The XL-1 comes with two sets of ballistic lenses (clear and neutral
slate). Each lens is hard coated for scratch resistance and anti-fog coated
so it functions perfect in any environment where clear protected sight is needed.
Each frame is lined with our durable, rubberized "Ultra
Foam" for a perfect facial seal. Our Ultra Foam is designed
so soldiers can customize based on environment. The Ultra Foam
can be removed in segments to allow more ventilation in humid
weather. Please Note: Ultra Foam cannot be replaced once removed.
Rubber tipped temples work in unison with our mini-elastic strap
through T-Peg docking, keeping the frames firmly in place. The
straps' Tri-Glide system adjusts the length for the perfect fit
on any head size.
Along with the SG-1, and new CQC goggles, the XL-1 functions
perfect with NVG's and can accommodate corrective lenses. Micro
Fiber case is included for cleaning and storage.
